In this world of abundance, it is a pretty well-known fact that no idea is original. Every night, or while in the shower or in the morning on our way to work, millions of people get a sudden thought, an inspiration to create or do something original. However, out of those millions how many of those ideas are the same? Millions. Thousands. Hundreds. Dozens… are the same exact idea. We can reason to say, the more original or creative the idea probably lesser the probability to find an exact equivalent – however, the fact of the matter remains, no idea is truly original. Someone somewhere or at sometime has come up with the same exact idea that you have.
So what if its not original? What will you do to make it UNIQUE? There are millions to billions of combinations of interdependent and associated ideas that can make a grand idea UNIQUE. So how do we make a t-shirt idea, or a tea cup idea or a new business endeavor unique? Its simple…give your idea a story and TAKE ACTION! Everyone has a story that is unique to them, so when creating a product, business, services it is important to align your business with your story. What inspired the business or product idea? What is your emotional or mental attraction to this idea? Whatever it is, find a story that is true, sincere and tell it. On the other hand, even if someone has the same idea as you..and idea is just an idea until its actually put into action. So if you have a so-called original idea, another way to make that idea unique is to put it into action - just do it! And just like that my friends, you now have a UNIQUE IDEA. Creative ideas mixed with action is like human DNA.. its the only thing that makes us one-of-a-kind

With this being my first post for the year 2010, I’d like to extend a Happy New Year to all of our family, friends and supporters. We are blessed to have been going strong for 5 years and we have you all to thank for that. Your support is greatly appreciated.
2010 is about setting our frequencies higher… as we get closer to 2012. The rest of the world believes the world isĀ coming to the end. I subscribe to the idea that the AM channel will be shut off. So anyone is still tuning in to AM channel, it will seem as if their world has come to an end (metaphorically speaking!) Its time for us to step our game up as the most intelligent species of the planet earth and endeavor to be more progressive and prosperous. I explain my thoughts on this topic a bit deeper in my video-blog below.
You’re questions and comments are welcomed. Peace.
This is somewhat of a shameless plug, but most importantly, I would also like to show love to our people over at “Friends We Love.” FWL is an on going interview/documentary series that give artists and movers-and-shakers an opportunity to build on any subject they desire – created by film makers Moni Pineda and Michael Vargas.
A few months ago Mike and Moni of FWL hit me up to stop by the studio and run my mouth for 120 seconds. Needless to say, I stopped by and I had no idea what I was going to talk about. However, I did realize it was chance for me to share my thoughts to the world, so I took advantage of the opportunity. Check it out, let me know what you think. Also, leave comments on the FriendsWeLove website. Continue to support creative people doing creative things.
For those of you that may have missed the interview on NBC Saturday morning, here is your opportunity to see it again. The interview will also air through out the week on Cabelvision channel 109 – NBCNY.
Special thanks to Tracie Strahan and the folks at NBC Studios for this opportunity.
