46 yrs Ago One Of Our Great Teachers Gave His Life…

Today 46 yrs ago one of our great righteous teachers and one of my childhood heros gave his life in the name of what he lived for. El Hajj Malik El Shabazz “Malcolm X” Feb. 21 1965 with full knowledge that his life was threatened by talk of assassination, chose to speak publicly, to not be bullied or silenced by fear and was in turn shot and killed while delivering his truth. Infinite respect for your example of the CDTBK motto “Live To Change Something” Love Light & Peace Great Big Brother.

Which Way Are You Going?

We at CDTBK pride ourselves in being students of life. However, during this process you have to remain humble and take inventory of your idiosyncrasies, flaws and grievances. This is what it means to have knowledge of self. It doesn’t mean that you already know everything about yourself, but you are part of the never ending quest to do so..Learning more that there are those that seek happiness at the expense of others. This is counterproductive in the process of developing inner peace.

It is important to bury your grievances with the past. Resentment, grudges and despair works more against you than for you and constructs a mechanism of dissatisfaction and confusion. Take control of your life by freeing your heart. Things are well because you will it to be! This is one of the meanings of “Live To Change Something!” You must start with yourself!
