Bill O’Reilly, Chris Brown, Failing Schools, Credit Unions, Diddy- What’s Next?
I am a fiend for round table discussions, political debates and shows like: “HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher,” “The O’Reilly Factor” and BETJ’s “My Two Cents.” Outside of frosted flakes and bananas, these fascinating shows have become my addictions. Last night, I wanted to spar with the remote and slam the TV! Nah, I just wanted to contribute my words of wisdom. After last night’s news coverage, I was almost sure that the world was coming to an unprecedented state of ignorance. I decided to share those stories with you- just in case, you missed them. Here they are:
1.) Bill O’Reilly & Dr. Marc Lamont Hill of Temple University on Obama’s Tax Policies
- Bill O’Reilly is so unaware of what is going on outside of his sphere. OMG, did he really say Botswana? Wake up, homie! Let’s start in Chicago or maybe Jackson.
- Studies also show that from 2002-2004, ¾ of America’s revenue went to 1% of the richest people in the country.
- Bill doesn’t even want his crappy tax dollars going to health care, education and the general welfare of the people. How selfish. This is nutz. Studies show that 97% of the people benefit when benefit from Obama’s tax plan. The 3% will be OK.
2.) Anderson Cooper & Domestic Violence table talks Nickelodeon, Rihanna & Chris Brown collaboration and California laws.

- I can’t believe Nickelodeon wants to determine whether or not Chris Brown deserves a “Kid’s Choice Award” by the votes of KIDS! Why is he still a nominee?
- The Rihanna/Chris Brown collaboration record is the saddest rumor I’ve heard yet. Studio sessions, death threats and physical abuse scares me.
- Sometimes I feel like smacking myself to see if this story is even real!
3.) Anderson covers the United States Educational system, teacher’s success & merit and measuring progress.

- This was a round table with Steve Perry, founder and principal of Capital Preparatory Magnet School, Geoffrey Canada, president and CEO of Harlem Children’s Zone, and Patricia Gandara, professor of education at UCLA.
- We need better teachers, better communities and better policies. Thanks Obama.
- 2,000 schools throughout America are responsible for 50% of the dropout rate.
- Yes! Destroy teachers who aren’t teaching well and encourage productive teachers to work harder-through giving them more money.
- Thanks Obama.
- Destroy the No Child Left Behind Act. It’s garbage.
- Click HERE to experience recaps of both segments.
4.) Navy Federal Credit Union tells Muslim woman to remove her religious garments and protest kicks off.
- C’mon man. I don’t even have to comment on this.
- Read the rest of the story HERE.
5.) P. Diddy talks Chris Brown & Rihanna on Ellen
- So, your boy let Rihanna and Chris stay at his place? OK.
- “It’s my house.” Classic. He snapped.
- Both parties do need serious help. Fans under 17 have to be confused.

I think that Diddy is right as far as him saying that we do not know the full story of what happened that night between Chris and Rihanna. I think that we should pray that they will make it through these tough times and wait to pass any thoughts that we have formed about them.

I’m mad dude started dancing! LOL.
However on a more serious note. Diddy is correct that it is his home and he can invite anyone whom he wants there, however what he doesn’t seem to understand is the best way not to caste judgement or stay out of it, is not to allow the potential drama in his “home.” By doing so, he does puts himself right in the middle of it whether he likes it or not.

Man O’Reilly knows what he is doing. He has a fixed agenda. Why are we surprised or mad at this? Its like being mad at a villain for being a villain. I guess I don’t expect much from him other than ridiculing and opposing anyone who threatens his lifestyle by suggesting change. If we were to never change, we’d be extinct. Good post Lady Dom.

Yeah, agreed in regards to the Diddy situation. Thanks Mike… continue to support. It’s a blessing. As far as O’Reilly, sometimes it seems as if he’s “growing” in his perspectives… and then he pulls a Brian McKnight- “Back at One.” Ra, you’re right. He is a jerk bag. I’m more shocked at the notion that he represents millions. SMH.
